xSwarm vs the alternatives
xSwarm doesn't replace Claude Code. It runs many Claude Code sessions for you, each in its own worktree, each checked by a quality team before you see it.
Side by side
| xSwarm | Claude Code by hand | One Claude Code session | Other agent orchestrators | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Parallel work across projects | Yes | You juggle the terminals | One task at a time | Often one repo |
| Isolated git worktree per task | Yes | You create and clean them | Shared working tree | Varies |
| Tests written first, red then green | Yes | If you remember to ask | If you remember to ask | Rarely enforced |
| Security, architecture and docs review | Yes | You review every diff | You review every diff | Usually a single agent |
| Task queue that paces your plan limits | Yes | You watch the limits | You watch the limits | Rarely |
| Dashboard and phone access | Yes | No | No | Some |
| Who is the bottleneck | Your decisions only | You | You | Depends on setup |
Why not just open more terminals?
You can, and it works until you have five. Then you are the scheduler, the reviewer and the merge queue, and the agents wait on you. xSwarm takes those jobs so the only thing waiting on you is a decision.
Why not another orchestrator?
Most orchestrators run agents. xSwarm runs a pipeline: every task gets tests first, an independent review, and a real browser check before it reaches you, and it works with the Claude Code plan you already have.
